Honestly, the coolest part was there were basically no cables anywhere. They put power in different areas around the property and everything just ran from there. We had power for the production, catering, bars — everything.
We had a mobile kitchen job in Manhattan and putting a generator outside just wasn't an option. We had ovens, hot boxes, refrigeration, coffee — a lot of power. These guys came in with the batteries and got the whole kitchen running.
Quiet Power brought in batteries and powered the entire sound system: 12 L-Acoustics KARA, 8 L-Acoustics SB18, amplification, FOH and monitor consoles, and stage power. Everything ran seamlessly on battery power. No issues at all.
